Staff Field Application Engineer (Optical Module Hardware): Pre/post-sales support for customer-facing design-in, bring-up, validation, and debug across PAM4 DSP, TIA/Driver, and AEC/ACC with an accent on SI/PI guidance, lab work, and fast issue resolution. Focus on partnering from proposal to production, closing design wins, providing onsite support, and training customers.

Location: Remote - CN - Jiangsu; must be eligible for U.S. export-controlled technology access.

What you will do

• Align customer design requirements with technology and assist with proposal development.
• Identify design opportunities and guide customers through their design process.
• Provide SI/PI reviews, recommend fixes, coordinate simulations, and correlate lab vs. model results.
• Deliver onsite support for real-time issues including software tools, HW/SW debugging, and system bring-up.
• Train customers and distributor FAEs; assist with designs, debug, and design conversions.
• Partner with marketing, sales, quality to improve customer experience and accelerate time-to-quality.

Requirements

• Fluent in both Chinese & English (verbal and written).
• Bachelor (3–10 years relevant experience) or Master (1–8 years) in relevant field.
• High-speed background: hands-on with PAM4 SerDes, optical modules, TIA/Driver front-ends, AEC/ACC through design, bring-up, and test.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively; solid communicator.
• Eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology (may require export license review; U.S. citizens, permanent residents, or protected individuals preferred).
