What you will do

• Manage one or two teams of data scientists and ML engineers, overseeing daily execution, performance, and career development.
• Provide technical leadership by driving architecture, design, and conducting code reviews.
• Own the planning, execution, and overall success of technical projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders across Engineering, Product, Research, and Customer Success teams.
• Establish and empower top-class data science and technology practices within the teams.
• Work closely with the recruiting team to source and interview high-caliber data science talent.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Team Leading and/or Management experience managing technical projects and DS/ML teams.
• 3+ years of experience in applied ML.
• 5+ years of professional experience in data science.
• Ability to lead by example and a willingness to take calculated technical risks.

Nice to have

• Experience leading customer-facing Data Science initiatives.
• Practical experience with real-time inference.
• Proficiency with distributed processing frameworks such as Spark.
• Domain expertise in fraud detection.
