Salary: £70,000 - £80,000 per annum

What you will do

• Define and maintain system architecture standards and guide the evolution of the platform.
• Manage the technical debt roadmap and lead frontend modernization and system restructuring.
• Identify and resolve system performance bottlenecks, specifically focusing on database optimization.
• Mentor developers and Team Leads, promoting best practices in software design and development.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineers to enhance CI/CD architecture, monitoring, and observability.
• Lead the technical R&D strategy, evaluating emerging technologies and running proofs-of-concept.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong background in .NET and cloud-based architectures.
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles and system integration patterns.
• Strong coding ability in C# and SQL.
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks, such as React.
• Right to work in the UK is mandatory (Sponsorship not available).

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS and distributed systems.
• Experience with data platforms or analytics systems like ClickHouse and ElasticSearch.
• Exposure to AI/ML and emerging technology trends.
• Experience prototyping and introducing new technologies into production.
