What you will do

• Administer and manage MySQL, Redis, MongoDB, and other data services, covering capacity planning, installation, backup, recovery, and monitoring.
• Support development and production teams in database designs and environment deployment.
• Review and optimize existing database designs and configurations to enhance stability and performance.
• Research and develop new technologies for building highly available data persistence systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant full-time working experience in database administration; database DevOps experience is a plus.
• In-depth understanding of database design and experience with large-scale distributed storage systems like MySQL, Redis, and MongoDB.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational database theory.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Shell or Python.
• Familiarity with Linux systems and strong system troubleshooting skills.
