Location: Hybrid in Montpellier, France (2 days remote per week)

What you will do

• Design, build, and ship backend features primarily using Scala.
• Collaborate with an international team split between France and Israel to solve complex AdTech problems.
• Champion software quality through robust testing, clean architecture, and mentoring junior engineers.
• Contribute to full-stack development using Node.js and React applications.
• Work within an Agile environment focusing on sustainable processes and open communication.

Requirements

• Proficiency in JVM languages such as Java, Kotlin, or Scala.
• Proven track record of designing and maintaining features in complex production environments.
• Commitment to writing high-quality, well-tested code.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Must be based in or able to relocate to Montpellier, France.

Nice to have

• Experience in the AdTech industry.
• Frontend experience, specifically with React.
