What you will do

• Research and design new lending mechanisms, liquidation strategies, and oracle integrations.
• Write and review production Solidity code for smart contracts securing significant TVL, prioritizing gas efficiency and correctness.
• Lead medium-to-large protocol initiatives end-to-end from research and design to deployment.
• Analyze protocol design adversarially to identify attack vectors, edge cases, and failure modes.
• Prototype protocol ideas using formal analysis, simulation, or verification.
• Collaborate cross-functionally on architecture decisions to maintain a coherent and minimal protocol stack.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a quantitative field (Math, Computer Science, Physics, Statistics, Economics) or equivalent knowledge.
• 5+ years of experience in software architectural design and implementation of complex systems.
• 2+ years of experience in blockchain R&D with a track record in protocol design and implementation.
• Strong abstraction capacity and ability to distill complex mechanisms to their essentials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical research discussions.
• Must be based in Europe (GMT to GMT+2) to ensure team overlap.
