Senior Java Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

What you will do

• Design, test, deploy, and maintain Java/Spring Boot software applications.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements definition and code reviews.
• Implement secure development practices, threat modeling, and web application security assessments.
• Contribute to CI/CD environment maintenance and automation efforts.
• Collaborate with the backend team to estimate tasks and resolve production issues.
• Drive innovation to accelerate product launches and remove technical bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring and Hibernate frameworks.
• Experience with RESTful API development and SQL databases.
• Proven experience with Junit testing and Agile methodologies.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment in Paris, France.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent technology discipline.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Elasticsearch.
• Experience with multi-threaded and distributed platforms.
• Master's degree in Engineering.
