What you will do

• Support the product roadmap for SWIFT integration, focusing on MT and ISO 20022 (MX) messaging standards.
• Translate banking and treasury requirements into detailed PRDs, technical specifications, and workflow diagrams.
• Implement SWIFT connectivity models such as Alliance Cloud, service bureaus, or API-based integration layers.
• Manage reconciliation, settlement tracking, and certification with external banks and BIC holders.
• Collaborate with compliance and risk teams to embed AML and sanctions screening into messaging workflows.
• Analyze operational performance and settlement metrics using SQL, Excel, or scripting tools.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in product management, payments operations, or financial infrastructure.
• Foundational understanding of SWIFT MT, ISO 20022, and cross-border correspondent banking (nostro/vostro).
• Familiarity with global payment rails including Fedwire, CHIPS, ACH, RTP, and SEPA.
• Ability to interpret message schemas and collaborate on API design (authentication, rate limits, resiliency).
• Proficiency in SQL or Excel for analyzing settlement activity and operational metrics.
• Must be authorized to work in the US (federally chartered bank requirements).

Nice to have

• Experience with ISO 20022 migration or correspondent banking implementations.
• Familiarity with BIC codes, RMA relationships, and bank certification testing.
• Exposure to digital asset settlement, blockchain-based infrastructure, or tokenized money.
