Data Analyst – Salon Reporting (Looker)

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain embedded Looker dashboards surfaced directly to salon clients within the platform.
• Develop and manage the LookML layer, including models, explores, views, and derived tables.
• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to scope and deliver new embedded analytics features.
• Ensure data consistency across all client-facing dashboards through rigorous QA and monitoring.
• Optimize Looker performance, including query efficiency, caching strategies, and PDT management.
• Support internal teams and clients with ad hoc data requests and insights.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in data analytics with deep hands-on expertise in Looker and LookML.
• Strong SQL skills across relational databases (MySQL and/or Redshift preferred).
• Experience building embedded analytics for external customers within a product.
• Proven ability to optimize Looker performance (PDTs, caching, query efficiency).
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical data concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
• Must be based in Ireland or the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience in the hair & beauty industry or vertical SaaS environment.
• Familiarity with Fivetran or Redshift.
• Python experience for data pipeline or tooling work.
