What you will do

• Own GEO strategy and roadmaps across accounts, aligning AI visibility goals with business priorities.
• Monitor LLM behavior, retrieval patterns, and AI Overview updates to pivot strategies and execute test plans.
• Lead and mentor a team of GEO analysts and leads, managing capacity, work allocation, and upskilling.
• Govern delivery quality by reviewing audits, recommendations, and defining SOPs and QA checklists.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Content, Tech, Analytics) and manage senior client stakeholders through data-backed narratives.

Requirements

• 10–12 years of experience in SEO or Digital Marketing.
• 1–2+ years of specific experience in Generative Engine Optimization (GEO).
• Proven track record in team management and program ownership, including risk management and delivery governance.
• Deep understanding of AI search ecosystems, LLM behavior, entity-based SEO, and knowledge graphs.
• Hands-on proficiency with tools such as Profound, Semrush, and Writesonic.

Nice to have

• Agency background with experience managing multiple client accounts simultaneously.
• Life Sciences, Pharma, or MedTech industry experience, including familiarity with MLR review processes.
• Knowledge of YMYL content and how AI models handle medical sources like PubMed.
• Global market exposure across US, EU, and APAC regions.
