What you will do

• Develop open-source showcase applications, including end-to-end RAG pipelines and recommendation engines.
• Research emerging AI patterns such as long-context RAG and agentic workflows to prototype new use cases.
• Produce deep-dive technical blog posts, video tutorials, and educational resources.
• Lead the company's presence at hackathons and workshops, providing mentorship to developers.
• Deliver compelling presentations and live coding sessions at premier AI conferences.
• Engage with the AI community on Discord, X, LinkedIn, and GitHub to champion developer needs internally.

Requirements

• Strong coding background in Python, Rust, JavaScript, or Go.
• Genuine fascination with and understanding of vector search, embeddings, and LLMs.
• Ability to explain complex technical architectures with clarity and enthusiasm.
• Strong connection to or willingness to lead the local San Francisco tech community.
• Experience creating technical tutorials and storytelling through code.
• Ability to work autonomously with deep empathy for developer challenges.
