Data Analyst (Snowflake)

What you will do

• Analyze large volumes of HR data to identify trends, gaps, and insights for business and AI use cases.
• Design and implement scalable logical and physical data models for HR reporting and analytics.
• Develop and maintain semantic layers for consistent, governed access to HR metrics.
• Collaborate with data engineers on Workday API integration and model-ready structures.
• Partner with AI teams to align data models with automated HR agents and workflows.
• Define data validation rules, quality checks, and compliance standards; document models and lineage.

Requirements

• At least 4 hours daily overlap with America/New_York time zone
• Strong experience in data modeling (logical/physical) focused on scalability and multiple use cases.
• Hands-on with Snowflake and dbt for data transformation and modeling.
• Familiarity with AWS data services in cloud environments.
• Experience with Workday or similar HRIS data structures.
• Understanding of semantic layer design, data governance, security, and compliance for HR data.
• Ability to translate business requirements into structured data models; strong analytical skills.
