Procurement Junior Buyer

TL;DR

Procurement Junior Buyer: Managing end-to-end transactional buying and sourcing activities, ensuring timely allocation to suppliers within agreed service levels with an accent on requisition analysis, supplier compliance, bidding, and securing best price, delivery, and terms. Focus on order monitoring, issue resolution, catalog coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Location: Hybrid in Manila, Philippines (PH GBS). Must report onsite 2x a week in BGC, Taguig City. Willing to work day shift (APAC) schedule.

What you will do

• Process purchasing requests and allocate to suppliers within service level agreements, following policies, SOPs, and SWIs across designated commodities.
• Ensure compliance with company spend policy and assign UNSPSC codes per regional/global requirements.
• Handle first-line issue resolution with stakeholders and suppliers, escalating as needed.
• Manage sourcing: analyze requisitions, enforce preferred supplier strategy, source per commodity list, secure best terms for non-contracted items.
• Perform order follow-up: acknowledgements, monitoring, close-out, blocked invoices, non-fulfilled orders.
• Coordinate SRM catalog information and direct shopping carts to frame contracts/catalogs.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business or related major.
• 1-3 years experience in Procurement (sourcing, bid evaluation, processing customer requests).
• Experience with SAP-ERP, SRM, CRM, or comparable system.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Ability to follow procedures, critical thinking for order analysis and process efficiencies.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
• Amenable to report onsite 2x a week in BGC, Taguig City.
• Willing to work day shift (APAC) schedule.
