What you will do

• Implement and configure payroll products for Portuguese clients, guiding them through the setup of employee master data and contract types.
• Ensure payroll setup aligns with statutory requirements, including Segurança Social and IRS withholding.
• Optimize finance management solutions, focusing on expense management, approval workflows, and procurement.
• Act as a bridge between clients and the Product team to communicate Portuguese payroll requirements and legal obligations.
• Provide strategic recommendations to ensure clients remain compliant with the Portuguese labor law (Código do Trabalho).

Requirements

• Native-level Portuguese and fluent English.
• Must be based in Barcelona or Madrid, Spain.
• Strong knowledge of Portuguese payroll processes, including Segurança Social, IRS, and collective agreements.
• Professional experience in finance operations or finance consulting.
• Experience implementing SaaS/ERP software or providing client-facing consulting.
• Analytical mindset capable of translating business processes into system configurations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Portuguese payroll tools such as Primavera, PHC, or Sage.
• Familiarity with finance software like Business Central or Power BI.
• Background in HRIS, payroll digitalization, or process automation.
