What you will do

• Lead the design of Mistral’s documentation, treating it as a first-class product to solve real user problems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with designers, PMs, and engineers to identify gaps and improve clarity.
• Design holistic UI/UX for documentation, including information architecture, navigation, and interactive demos.
• Create visual assets, diagrams, and animations to make complex technical ideas accessible.
• Advocate for the user by using data and feedback to continuously improve the learning experience.
• Explore AI-driven innovations for dynamic content generation and personalized learning paths.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience focusing on documentation, developer tools, or technical communication.
• Strong systems thinking for scalability and consistency across a growing product suite.
• Proficiency in creating visual aids using tools like Figma or Illustrator.
• Experience designing developer-facing documentation (APIs, SDKs, technical guides).
• Must reside in or be able to relocate to France or the UK.
• Ability to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both experts and newcomers.

Nice to have

• Experience with technical writing or content design (Markdown, Docusaurus).
• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts such as model deployment and inference.
