What you will do

• Set up and maintain automated test platforms for calibration and characterization of optical transceivers and electro-optic components.
• Develop and enhance test automation software, including calibration routines and verification test flows.
• Debug and resolve complex issues spanning test software, instrumentation, hardware, and DUT behavior.
• Support products throughout their lifecycle, from early R&D validation to engineering qualification and high-volume production.
• Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to improve test robustness, coverage, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or Optical Communications with 2–5 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree with 5–7+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following: Software/Test Automation (Python, C/C++), High-Speed Digital Hardware (S-parameters, impedance matching), or Optical Transceivers/Systems.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking skills for debugging complex technical problems.
• Must be eligible to access export-controlled information under U.S. export control laws and regulations (EAR).

Nice to have

• Background or working knowledge in digital signal processing (DSP).
• Familiarity with MATLAB and/or ADS.
• Knowledge of or experience with Silicon Photonics.
• Experience debugging mixed hardware-software test environments.
