What you will do

• Design and build resilient, scalable microservices and event-driven architectures.
• Implement high-performance services and make critical decisions on data consistency and communication patterns.
• Manage data lifecycles by designing efficient SQL and NoSQL database schemas and optimizing query performance.
• Own services in production following the “You Build It, You Run It” philosophy, implementing full observability.
• Develop clean, secure, and well-documented REST/GraphQL APIs as contracts between backend services and frontend.

Requirements

• 6+ years of experience building scalable backend services in a production environment.
• Strong proficiency in modern backend languages such as Java, Python, or Node.js.
• Experience building and deploying services on cloud platforms, preferably AWS, utilizing Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and NoSQL stores (DynamoDB/Mongo).
• Proven experience leveraging coding assistants to accelerate development and testing workflows.
