What you will do
- Lead the design and evolution of core platform capabilities to support multiple products and teams.
- Adopt and integrate AI-assisted development tools and workflows into daily engineering practices.
- Identify and resolve complex challenges across architecture, infrastructure, reliability, and security.
- Drive improvements in SDLC, engineering standards, and development processes for faster delivery.
- Set technical direction, mentor teammates, and influence cross-functional alignment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in backend and platform engineering.
- 5+ years of experience designing and building large-scale backend systems using Java.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native architectures in production.
- Solid experience with relational databases and SQL.
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and influence without authority.
- Practical experience with AI development tools like Cursor.
Nice to have
- Experience with CI/CD, observability, and production operations.
- Background in security-focused and compliance-heavy environments.
- Experience supporting SaaS transformation.
- Familiarity with Azure and AWS.
