Salary: $1,600 – $2,400 per month

What you will do

• Translate initial product ideas into clear, visually engaging sketches and drawings.
• Build precise, manufacturable 3D CAD models with accurate measurements and technical details.
• Apply ergonomics and user-interaction best practices to ensure intuitive and comfortable designs.
• Package models and specs for suppliers and track revisions through early sampling.
• Perform targeted market and competitive research to inform design features and brand decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Product Design, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience designing consumer products from concept through CAD to early production.
• Advanced proficiency in SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or AutoCAD, including assemblies and tolerances.
• Ability to work 8am - 5pm Mountain Standard Time (MST).
• Portfolio demonstrating sketches and CAD work for consumer products.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for supplier-facing documentation.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with injection molding and consumer product assemblies.
• Experience preparing design packs for overseas manufacturing partners.
• Experience with packaging or instructions that communicate function clearly.
