Location: Hybrid (3 days in office per week) in Allen, TX only

Salary: $117,000 - $135,200

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software systems focusing on high-volume, low-latency projects.
• Perform advanced debugging, write automated tests, and contribute to architectural discussions.
• Collaborate across teams to coordinate development and share knowledge with peers.
• Improve code quality using frameworks such as Maven, Gradle, and Spring.
• Analyze technical requirements to drive performance, scalability, and efficiency.
• Contribute to the creation and definition of Epics, User Stories, and project goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development, specifically in Java and Linux/Unix environments.
• Experience with video/audio tools such as FFmpeg or GStreamer.
• Expertise in distributed web application development using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with REST and relational databases.
• Experience with automated CI/CD pipelines and GCP/AWS.

Nice to have

• Experience with C, C++, and/or Rust.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, Postgres, or ClickHouse.
• Understanding of video streaming protocols (RTMP, HLS, or DASH).
• Familiarity with generative AI development tools like Claude, Copilot, and Gemini.
• Experience with JavaFX.
