Data Integration Specialist (Data Engineering)

TL;DR

Data Integration Specialist (SQL/Pandas): Designing and building data integrations for retailer data sources to enable cross-retailer analyses with an accent on data mapping, transformation, and quality assurance. Focus on developing data pipelines, performing data wrangling, and delivering UAT dashboards to ensure high-quality data delivery.

Location: Must be based in the United States or Canada. Preferred in-person in Vancouver or Toronto, but remote is considered.

Salary: $30 per hour (expected 20-40 hours per week)

What you will do

• Design and build new integrations for retailer data sources based on customer requirements.
• Develop data transformations for the data pipeline to process customer data.
• Perform QA, testing, and data analysis to identify and resolve data issues.
• Create User Acceptance Testing (UAT) dashboards for customer sign-off.
• Collaborate with project managers and data engineers to ensure a high-quality implementation journey.
• Manage deliverables and progress according to project plans and deadlines.

Requirements

• Proficiency in data analysis and wrangling using pandas, dplyr, SQL, or Excel.
• Must be located in the United States or Canada.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict project deadlines.
• Strong communication skills for translating technical details to non-technical audiences.
• Must be able to enable full hard disk encryption on your computer.
• Basic background check compliance.
