What you will do

• Own the design and evolution of monetization systems, including stores, battle passes, and live service offerings.
• Deliver player-first features that balance user value and engagement with business objectives.
• Partner with product management and data analytics to gain a deep understanding of player needs and values.
• Use data, player insights, and market trends to inform decisions and optimize system performance.
• Communicate design intent clearly while advocating for fair and transparent monetization experiences.

Requirements

• 6+ years of systems design experience on live service titles.
• Direct professional experience with monetization and economy systems.
• Strong understanding of free-to-play (F2P) models, pricing strategies, and player behavior.
• Demonstrated ability to iterate and improve systems using data and player feedback.
• Experience partnering with UX/UI, product management, analytics, and engineering teams.
• Excellent documentation and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Prior experience specifically with battle pass systems and seasonal monetization.
• Familiarity with in-game marketing or live ops promotional strategies.
