What you will do

• Perform mechanical design, development, and production support aligned with design life cycle expectations.
• Conduct requirements understanding, concept development, DFMA/PFMA analysis, and margin analysis.
• Develop technical data packages (TDP), apply GD&T principles, and prepare engineering test plans.
• Generate technical analysis reports and present data in design reviews.
• Solve technical problems of moderate scope and complexity using mechanical aptitude.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in STEM + minimum 5 years relevant mechanical design experience (or Advanced Degree + 3 years)
• 5+ years in mechanical design and design documentation
• Must have active US DoD Secret Security Clearance; US citizenship REQUIRED
• Mechanical aptitude for solving moderate technical problems

Nice to have

• Advanced Engineering degree
• Leadership of small teams (4-6 people)
• Supplier management experience
• Experience in mechanical sub-systems, packaging, materials, thermal/structural analysis, GD&T (ANSI Y14.5)
• CREO (Pro/E) or similar 3D modeling; PTC Windchill PDM
• Ability to travel to government/supplier sites
