Product Lead (AI)

TL;DR

Product Lead (AI): Building the first self-driving bookkeeping experience by translating customer feedback into prototypes and software with an accent on AI agents and financial automation. Focus on driving new features through the full product lifecycle, partnering with AI engineers, and scaling accounting software for business owners.

Location: Downtown Palo Alto, CA; in person 4 days per week. Candidates should be based in the Bay Area or open to relocation.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 + meaningful equity

What you will do

• Work directly with customers to incorporate feedback into new products and customer experiences.
• Collaborate with the CEO, Design, and Engineering teams to develop useful prototypes and drive new features.
• Partner with the AI team to develop, maintain, and improve industry-leading AI agents.
• Collaborate with Growth, Sales, and CX teams on content, partnerships, and establishing new market segments.
• Drive new projects from ideation to completion in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Requirements

• 5-7+ years of experience in consulting, accounting, finance (e.g., MBB, Big 4, IB) or high-growth startups.
• Strong communication skills to navigate technical and non-technical conversations with accountants and business owners.
• Track record of success in driving projects from ideation to completion.
• Experience being self-employed, running a side business, or serving small-business owners.
• Basic coding experience (SQL, JavaScript, Python) or experimentation with code gen tools like Cursor or Claude Code.
