What you will do

• Audit carrier freight invoices to ensure strict alignment with customer contracts and contracted rates.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies between billed charges and pricing, managing balance dues and exceptions.
• Process and validate freight invoices using audit/payment systems, TMS platforms, and internal tools.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for audit and freight payment inquiries for both customers and carriers.
• Support new customer implementations by assisting with audit and billing setup requirements.
• Maintain detailed documentation of audit activities, findings, and communications.

Requirements

• Experience in freight audit and payment processes.
• Foundational understanding of transportation operations, carrier contracts, and billing practices.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to interpret complex customer contracts and carrier agreements.
• Familiarity with multiple transportation modes, including LTL, Truckload, Bulk, Drayage, Rail, and international shipments.
