What you will do

• Lead mechanical/electrical design of modular data centers, including enclosures, power distribution, cooling, and IT integration.
• Define system architectures balancing density, thermal performance, reliability, and cost; develop specs, BOMs, and drawings.
• Architect rack/pod IT layouts for high-density AI/ML compute; validate hardware with hyperscale customers.
• Build/validate CFD thermal models and power models for optimization.
• Partner with manufacturers for DFM/DFA, lead reviews, testing, and product lifecycle management.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with energy/software teams and mentor engineers; engage customers on designs.

Requirements

• 7+ years engineering experience, 4+ years in manufacturing/design/mission-critical infrastructure
• Deep expertise in two+ of: mechanical/structural systems, power distribution, thermal management, IT hardware.
• Hands-on with thermal/power modeling tools (e.g., 6SigmaRoom, FloEFD, ANSYS).
• Experience from concept to manufacturing/deployment.
• Excellent technical communication for specs, reviews, trade-offs.
