TL;DR

Regional Medical Director (Healthcare): Developing and sustaining relationships and impacting clinical strategies and workflows to promote value-based healthcare delivery with an accent on quality health outcomes and overall cost reduction. Focus on leading clinical engagement, leveraging KPI metrics for performance improvement, and coaching primary care practices.

Location: Hybrid. Must be a resident of Colorado, Utah, or Nevada.

Salary: $175,000 - $220,000 base + bonus + equity

What you will do

  • Lead clinical engagement in assigned markets to drive performance improvement in value-based care.
  • Leverage KPI metrics to identify performance gaps and partner with field teams to resolve them.
  • Foster relationships with physicians and staff through engagement calls and best-practice sharing.
  • Provide coaching, skill building, and mentorship to primary care practices and Local Medical Directors.
  • Collaborate with tech and product teams to optimize clinical initiatives and drive network-wide improvements.
  • Participate in and lead clinical strategy discussions during ACO Board Meetings.

Requirements

  • Must be a resident of Colorado, Utah, or Nevada.
  • Doctorate in Medicine (MD or DO).
  • Residency in an adult primary care specialty (family, internal, or geriatric medicine).
  • 2+ years of direct clinical patient care experience.

Nice to have

  • Experience with quality improvement activities or cost containment initiatives.
  • Background in population health management.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills.
