Regional Medical Director (Oncology)

TL;DR

Regional Medical Director (Oncology): Supporting the oncology portfolio including taletrectinib and safusidenib through investigator/KOL engagement, insight collection, and support of trials with an accent on medical communications and cross-functional collaboration. Focus on establishing relationships with experts, presenting scientific information, identifying unmet needs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Location: Remote - Any State US. Must live in assigned region. Travel minimum 50%.

Salary: From $235,000 to $265,000 per year

What you will do

• Realize medical/scientific objectives for the RMD team and contribute to professional development.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external experts, academic institutions, and managed care communities.
• Present medical and scientific information to healthcare professionals, formulary committees, and at medical meetings.
• Identify unmet medical, educational, and research needs and develop strategies to address them.
• Provide support for internal collaborations like sales training and speaker bureau initiatives.
• Assist in investigator and site identification for company-sponsored trials and manage ISR proposals.
• Represent the company at conferences, advisory boards, and with thought leaders; stay current on oncology fields.

Requirements

• Advanced degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) in medical/science field or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years as field MSL/RMD with excellent communication skills.
• Solid understanding of drug development, FDA guidelines, and ethical standards in pharma.
• Experience cultivating relationships with investigators and KOLs in relevant fields.
• Ability to articulate complex scientific ideas, multitask, and work independently.
• Must live in assigned region; minimum 50% travel.
