What you will do

• Develop and define integrated front-end process flows for new technology nodes.
• Coordinate across lithography, etch, deposition, diffusion, wet clean, CMP, and metrology teams.
• Analyze yield loss and parametric failures using statistical tools (SPC, DOE, FMEA) to drive corrective actions.
• Optimize critical dimensions (CD), overlay, and film thickness to ensure electrical parameters meet design targets.
• Implement process control plans and monitoring strategies using Cpk/Ppk and capability analysis.
• Support the ramp from R&D to high-volume manufacturing (HVM) and document standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Requirements

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, Optics, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• At least 6 months of experience in semiconductor device fabrication, nanotechnology, or electrical characterization of transistors.
• Ability to work on-site in the United States (Hillsboro, OR or Phoenix, AZ).

Nice to have

• Proficiency in JMP, MATLAB, Python, JSL, TCL, SQL, or C/C++.
• Strong understanding of Device physics (CMOS, FinFET, GAA).
• Hands-on experience with VLSI device fabrication and testing in a lab environment.
• Knowledge of VLSI fabrication instruments (dry etcher, ALD, PE CVD, metallization).
• Experience with automation and defect classification systems in a fab environment.
