Location: Hybrid in Scottsdale, AZ (Expected in office 2-3 days per week)

Salary: $158,000 – $195,000 per year

What you will do

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process to produce GAAP financials and management reports.
• Manage accounting for Internal Use Software (IUS) and Cloud Computing Arrangements (CCA) under ASC 350-40.
• Serve as the primary Finance stakeholder for NetSuite, optimizing the system for reporting and analysis.
• Apply SaaS revenue recognition expertise to manage ARR, usage-based revenue, and complex contract renewals.
• Champion the use of AI and automation tools to modernize finance workflows and reporting cycles.
• Lead and mentor the Accounting Specialist and act as a strategic finance partner to the CFO.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Controller or Senior Accounting Manager.
• Strong proficiency in corporate accounting and GAAP.
• Experience with parent-company reporting and consolidations.
• Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in finance workflows.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Scottsdale, AZ office.
• Bachelor's Degree required.

Nice to have

• NetSuite experience.
• Experience at a SaaS company and knowledge of ASC 606.
• Experience with IUS and CCA accounting (ASC 350-40).
• CPA or master’s degree.
