TL;DR

Rates and Overhead Analyst (Finance): Analyzing monthly indirect actuals versus budget data and preparing budget packages with an accent on government compliance and audit support. Focus on managing DCAA/DCMA reporting, performing overhead reconciliations, and optimizing forecasting tools for headcount and spending.

Location: Onsite in Tampa, USA. Must be a U.S. citizen

What you will do

  • Analyze monthly indirect expenses to ensure proper accounting treatment and prepare necessary corrections.
  • Monitor indirect spending trends and provide strategic feedback to executive leadership.
  • Act as the primary liaison for DCAA and DCMA, supporting audits including Incurred Cost and Forward Pricing Rate Proposals.
  • Develop annual fiscal year budgets and prepare monthly budget packages in collaboration with budget owners.
  • Execute monthly overhead processing, reconciliations, and various ERP journal checks for month-end close.
  • Manage and update forecasting tools for headcount and budget tracking.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office with a heavy focus on Excel.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen due to U.S. Government contract requirements.
  • Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
  • Strong analytical mindset and professional communication skills.

Nice to have

  • Experience with Costpoint or Cognos planning.
  • Experience with Adaptive.
  • Knowledge of FPRP, Incurred Cost Submission, and Government Compliance.
