What you will do

• Build and maintain production systems supporting the acquisition and valuation of luxury inventory.
• Design, deploy, and operate scalable distributed systems and microservices.
• Own the full lifecycle of services, from technical proposals to operational stability.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams to build client-facing products and platform infrastructure.
• Utilize AI and modern tooling to accelerate development while ensuring system depth and quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience shipping production systems with a track record of ownership.
• Strong proficiency in at least one of: Go, React/TypeScript, or Scala.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and relational databases (preferably PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with AWS and containerization.
• Must be based in the United Kingdom.

Nice to have

• Experience with event-driven architectures and streaming platforms.
• Proficiency in API design across GraphQL, gRPC, or REST.
• Knowledge of authentication, authorization, or compliance-related systems.
• Domain experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, or auctions.
