What you will do

• Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate dynamic behavior and vibration modes of drone systems.
• Design and simulate passive and active damping solutions to isolate optical payloads from vibrations.
• Conduct thermal-mechanical simulations to assess heat dissipation impact on structural alignment and sensor calibration.
• Analyze wind loads and flight dynamics to ensure mechanical stability of the platform.
• Implement test benches for vibration and experimental modal analysis to correlate simulations with real-world data.
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers to optimize mass design and material selection for maximum rigidity-to-weight ratios.

Requirements

• MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Structural Dynamics, or Vibration & Control.
• 5+ years of experience in high-performance robotics, aerospace, or automotive NVH.
• Mastery of FEA tools such as Simulia, Ansys, COMSOL, or Abaqus.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for data post-processing and simulation automation.
• Deep understanding of structural dynamics, modal analysis, and vibration theory.
• Familiarity with 3D CAD (CATIA, SolidWorks) and PLM environments.
