- Design and develop operations research algorithms to support project missions.
- Create modeling and optimization approaches for industrial systems.
- Design and evaluate models for simulated and real-world systems.

Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a PhD program in a STEM field (Operations Research, Applied Math, Industrial Process Engineering).
- Strong eperience with Python or C/C++.
- Deep understanding of stochastic modeling or combinatorial optimization methods.
- Eperience in industrial, chemical, or system engineering optimization.
- Must be located in or be able to work from Mountain View, CA.
Nice to have
- Open-source projects or publications in relevant conferences and journals.
- Proficiency in high-performance computing frameworks and libraries.
- Familiarity with Verte AI, OpenAI Platform, or Anthropic Console.
- Knowledge of Bayesian optimization and stochastic processes.
