What you will do
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of engineering projects, network design, and construction implementation.
- Develop and monitor build plans and work schedules for internal teams and contracted vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
- Track milestones for complex programs across multiple lines of business, both internal and external.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and manage project budgets via vendor performance management.
- Perform data analysis using GIS and IQGeo to facilitate strategic business decisions.
- Conduct quality inspections and User Acceptance Technical Testing (UATT) on fiber builds.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Telecommunications.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- Project Manager Certification.
- Proficiency in PM tools such as MS Project, SmartSheets, Confluence, JIRA, and ServiceNow.
- Experience with Telcom Network Design (IQGeo, GIS, SmallWorld) and Facility Record Management tools.
- Must be based in or able to work in Charlotte, NC (Hybrid).
Nice to have
- Master's degree and related advanced work experience.
- Knowledge of NDS, TIRKS, SAP, Fireworks, BidMaster, or other specialized telco tools.
- Experience with regulatory subsidy compliance.
