TL;DR
Technical Operations Manager, MxU (Fiber Deployment): Lead complex multidisciplinary projects for deploying internet access infrastructure with an accent on vendor management, contractor oversight, scheduling, and budgeting. Focus on developing program management functions, operating across internal and external organizations, and implementing process improvements for efficiency gains.
Location: Onsite in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States; must be local to or willing to relocate to Las Vegas. This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Salary: $129,600 - $142,600 + bonus + cash award + benefits (US base).

What you will do
- Develop and manage program management functions including project initiation, planning, executing, controlling, and closing.
- Operate across internal groups and external organizations to implement operational processes.
- Lead process improvements for efficiency and efficacy in deployment and operations.
- Manage project budgets, scheduling, planning, contractor assignments, and track performance including billing.
- Handle proposals, SOWs, bids, scope definition, engineering design cycles, reviews, and approvals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Telecommunications, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in vendor management, managing contractors, quality assurance, schedule commitments, and troubleshooting.
- Experience developing and managing contracts, invoicing, scheduling projects, cost engineering, budgeting, and forecasting costs.
- Must be local to or willing to relocate to Las Vegas.
- Not eligible for immigration sponsorship.
Nice to have
- 8 years with fiber network deployments, including new outside/inside plant fiber infrastructure, and 5 years with MDU infrastructure.
- Familiarity with GIS, database management, AutoCAD, ESRI, shape files.
- Knowledge of network drawings, route maps, scopes of work, fiber test results, and project auditing.
- Deep understanding of inside/outside plant fiber optic networks, engineering design, FTTH, MDU design, and construction.
