What you will do

• Lead the design and development of consumer products from initial concept to mass production.
• Coordinate team tasks to deliver functional prototypes for research and internal reviews.
• Define product electrical and firmware architecture for contract manufacturers and global teams.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Product Marketing to provide EBOM cost estimates and work effort.
• Ensure products meet global certification standards and resolve EMI/EMC issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and technologists within the global EE organization.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in technical leadership for embedded hardware and firmware projects.
• Proficiency in component selection, system architecture, design verification, and documentation.
• Experience with Design for Manufacturability (DFM), testability, and reliability guidelines.
• Hands-on experience in microcontroller firmware development, including design, testing, and debugging.
• Ability to resolve compliance testing and EMI/EMC issues through methodical root cause analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience in the consumer product or consumer goods consulting industry.
• Familiarity with compilers, IDEs, JIRA, and SVN.
