What you will do

• Provide switching power supply design support using the company’s products.
• Offer expert technical advice to global customers.
• Perform analysis of technical issues presented by customers and offer solutions.
• Conduct design reviews for power supply designs, including schematics, PCB layout, magnetics, and performance results.
• Provide component selection advice to achieve best-in-class performance for power supplies.
• Support the sales team by visiting customers and offering technical training.

Requirements

• BSEE/MSEE or foreign equivalent with 7 years (BSEE) or 4 years (MSEE) of experience.
• Hands-on experience with power supply design or power electronics, including transformers and inductors.
• Familiarity with power supply topologies such as Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost, and Flyback Converters.
• Ability to perform complex calculations, including worst-case analysis for circuits.
• Experience using tools such as MATLAB, Excel, C++, and simulation software (SIMPLIS, LTspice).
• Strong hands-on ability and experience with lab equipment for testing high frequency switching power supplies.
• Excellent written and oral communication with experience in specification creation and technical report writing.
• Ability to travel to key customers (10%).

Nice to have

• Experience developing firmware using C/C++ for embedded controllers in power supply applications.
• Ability to provide firmware coding advice for applications designed using hirify.global’ products.
