What you will do

• Monitor real-time trading activities across equities, bonds, and derivatives to identify potential market abuse or manipulation.
• Analyze market anomalies, price fluctuations, and volumes to detect non-compliance with market rules.
• Investigate alerts from surveillance systems to determine the underlying causes of irregularities.
• Collaborate with compliance teams and external regulators to investigate breaches and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed incident reports and contribute to periodic regulatory reporting.
• Ensure surveillance practices remain aligned with MiFID II and MAR standards.

Requirements

• Master’s level student in finance, engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal communication skills in both French and English.
• Basic understanding of the trade lifecycle, exchanges, and derivatives products.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
• Proactive and autonomous approach to problem-solving under pressure.
