Focus on developing tested code, implementing microservices architecture, and leveraging AI tooling to improve production quality.

Location: Hybrid (Prague, Czech Republic)

What you will do

  • Develop reliable, maintainable, and tested cloud-native backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Leverage AI tooling (Claude models, CLI, IDE integration) to deliver production-quality software.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers and architects on architecture discussions, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects, security vulnerabilities, and other technical issues.
  • Utilize automated CI/CD tools and maintain technical documentation for processes and best practices.

Requirements

  • Excellent Java development skills and hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework.
  • Solid understanding of REST API.
  • English: B2 level or better required.
  • Location: Must be based in or able to work in a hybrid setup in Prague, Czech Republic.
  • Analytical thinking and a proactive mindset for learning and applying new knowledge.

Nice to have

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Knowledge of microservices and event-driven architecture.
  • Strong understanding of software engineering principles, algorithms, and data structures.
