What you will do

• Develop scalable backend services and high-volume data processing solutions using TypeScript.
• Participate in the full software lifecycle from ideation and architecture to deployment and maintenance.
• Build and maintain secure, distributed cloud services within an event-driven microservices architecture.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Data Science teams in a full-ownership squad.
• Support, coach, and inspire colleagues with technical expertise and a problem-solving mindset.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software development experience with a deep focus on backend engineering.
• Strong, hands-on expertise with JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js.
• Proven experience with AWS (API Gateway, Lambda, ECS, SQS, SNS, DynamoDB) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or CloudFormation).
• Deep understanding of event-driven microservice architectures and the Serverless Framework.
• Proficiency with NoSQL (DynamoDB) and Relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions), Docker, and orchestration tools (ECS, Kubernetes).

Nice to have

• Experience integrating AI/ML models or working with LLMs and Generative AI.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, specifically BigQuery and Pub/Sub.
