TL;DR

Location: Office-based in Montpellier, France; Annecy, France; or Montreal, Canada

What you will do

  • Lead and support the Character team on a daily basis, providing mentoring and career coaching to support talent growth.
  • Structure and drive character production, prioritizing needs and ensuring assets are delivered on time and at the required quality.
  • Manage the full character pipeline, from concept through high- and low-resolution modeling to final integration.
  • Coordinate with external partners and manage outsourcing processes.
  • Act as the primary relay for Art Direction, discussing and co-building technical and artistic decisions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Team Lead Character Artist on large-scale AAA projects.
  • Expert-level character modeling skills for video games and mastery of established pipelines.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring capabilities to establish clear frameworks for the team.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating across diverse profiles.
  • Ability to maintain AAA standards for narrative quality and gameplay integration.
