What you will do

• Review and approve payment flow designs and conduct threat modeling for all new payment products.
• Establish secure transaction integrity standards to prevent amount tampering, currency manipulation, and settlement abuse.
• Build and lead a Payment Red Team program to simulate malicious user behavior and validate abuse cases.
• Lead investigations of payment-related security incidents and drive root cause remediation.
• Partner with Fraud, Risk, and Engineering teams to design monitoring and alerting frameworks for transaction anomalies.
• Chair the Payment Security Review Board and define risk acceptance and launch approval processes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in payments, fintech, acquiring, banking, or transaction risk.
• Deep understanding of payment systems, merchant acquiring, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Proven experience dealing with payment fraud, transaction abuse, or payment security.
• Strong understanding of business logic vulnerabilities and adversarial thinking.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Engineering, Risk, Compliance, and Operations teams.
