Hybrid: local to and 1-2x per week from offices in Silver Spring, NYC, SF, Miami, or Denver (US)

Salary: $210,000 - $260,000/year + bonus + benefits

What you will do

• Lead architecture and development of complex AI/ML features across the product suite, identifying challenges proactively.
• Design and maintain robust evaluation frameworks for continuous ML/AI improvement.
• Develop novel product experiences leveraging unique datasets at scale, guiding technical leadership.
• Own end-to-end ML/AI feature development with cross-functional teams, providing rigorous oversight.
• Provide technical mentorship to foster high-impact contributions.
• Scale transaction metadata systems, implement AI-assisted features like category detection and personalization.

Requirements

• 8+ years in ML engineering or data science at consumer tech scale
• Hands-on experience integrating ML/AI into production, including evaluation tooling and user feedback.
• Experience with prompt engineering and LLM-based systems.
• Expert Python, SQL, ML frameworks; fundamental ML knowledge.
• Ability to solve ambiguous problems, own scaled ML product launches.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals applied at scale; technical leadership and communication.
• Preference for US office locations (Silver Spring, NYC, SF, Miami, Denver) 1-2x/week
