Accounting Intern

TL;DR

Accounting Intern (Finance): Engage in a wide variety of finance functions critical to a global organization, including cash management, receivables and payables accounting, travel expenses management, and local accounting for month and year-end closings. Focus on preparing folders for auditors based on KPMG requests, following up on fuel usage expense files for company cars, and checking travel expenses.

Location: Onsite in Orleans, France. Must be able to lawfully work within France.

What you will do

• Prepare folders based on KPMG requests for revenue selection, including invoices, contracts or POs, delivery justifications, and payment checks.
• Follow up on file implementation for fuel usage expenses concerning company cars, including AEN calculation and process documentation.
• Check and manage travel expenses.
• Handle receivables and payables accounting, including invoice sending, payments booking, and relationships.
• Support local accounting for month and year-end closings and auditors relationships.

Requirements

• Pursuing a BA/BS degree in Accounting or Finance
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Must be able to lawfully work within France

Nice to have

• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Good PC skills, especially Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Experience with Microsoft Access, Oracle, and Business Objects
