TL;DR
Senior Windows System Administrator (Kubernetes/OpenShift): Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure environments with an accent on Windows Server administration, virtualization, and container platforms. Focus on ensuring system reliability, performance, security, high availability, disaster recovery, and troubleshooting complex issues in hybrid setups.
Location: 100% onsite (8:00am - 4:30pm CST) to start, may transition to hybrid after training. Ability to pass Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation (Public Trust) required.

What you will do
- Administer, maintain, and support Windows Server environments (2016/2019/2022).
- Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and IIS.
- Design and support virtualized environments using VMware and Hyper-V.
- Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot containerized applications on Kubernetes and OpenShift.
- Monitor performance, ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and automate tasks with PowerShell.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, implement security, patch management, and troubleshoot issues.
- Maintain documentation and mentor junior administrators.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in Windows system administration.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell scripting.
- Hands-on with Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, VMware vSphere/Hyper-V.
- Experience with monitoring tools, backups, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, firewalls, load balancing).
- Bachelor’s degree in CS/related or 13 years total experience.
- Ability to pass Tier 2/Moderate Background Investigation (Public Trust).
Nice to have
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Red Hat or Kubernetes certifications (CKA, OpenShift Administrator).
