What you will do

• Manage the partnership tax function, including compliance, research, and documentation.
• Serve as a subject matter expert and primary point of contact for investment partners on partnership tax matters.
• Coordinate with external consultants for tax compliance and research.
• Correspond with tax jurisdictions and assist in documenting various tax matters.
• Support tax financial statement reporting.
• Train and supervise tax seniors, associates, and clerks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or a related field.
• CPA certification or currently actively pursuing it.
• 5+ years of experience in tax planning, research, and compliance.
• 2+ years of experience managing multiple direct reports.
• 4+ years of experience in public accounting or in-house at a U.S.-based multinational company.
• Proven track record of analyzing large datasets using advanced Excel functions.

Nice to have

• Master's degree in accounting or taxation.
• Previous experience in the energy sector, particularly renewable energy.
• Proficiency in data analytics tools, specifically OneSource and Alteryx.
• Strong expertise in Subchapter K of the Internal Revenue Code and hypothetical liquidation at book value (HLBV).
