What you will do

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals, partnerships, and estates.
• Manage complex flowthrough and PCS engagements including real estate and family offices.
• Identify and resolve technical tax issues while applying findings to client situations.
• Assist with tax planning strategies, projections, and entity structuring.
• Review work prepared by associates and provide coaching to support team development.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients to maintain strong relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 2+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of partnership, individual, and flowthrough taxation.
• Proficiency with tax research tools and software.
• Must be located near a hirify.global office in SoCal or the Bay Area for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• CPA or EA certification in progress.
• Experience with trusts, estates, or specific industries like manufacturing and professional services.
