TL;DR

Jr. Software Engineer, Customer Solutions Engineering (Node.js/Healthcare): Developing and maintaining software and integration solutions for health systems with an accent on API development and systems integration. Focus on creating system design specifications, ensuring seamless data flow across platforms, and building robust communication between internal and external systems.

Location: Remote within the continental United States (Eastern or Central time zones), excluding New York. Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.

What you will do

  • Develop and maintain robust software and integration solutions under senior guidance.
  • Implement systems integration to ensure seamless data flow across platforms.
  • Create system design specifications, flowcharts, and process swimlanes.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs for internal and external system communication.
  • Collaborate with teams to gather requirements and align on project goals.

Requirements

  • Foundational knowledge of software engineering (data structures, algorithms, design patterns).
  • Proficiency with JavaScript and Node.js.
  • Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Strong technical communication skills in English.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
  • Ability to work remotely from the continental US (Eastern or Central time zones), excluding New York.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Golang.
  • Experience with healthcare appointment scheduling workflows or EMRs.
  • Familiarity with systems integration patterns and methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira, Scrum, or Kanban.
