What you will do

• Underwrite complex SME cyber risks within agreed authority and appetite.
• Develop and manage a panel of brokers to position the company as a preferred cyber partner.
• Drive pipeline creation, new business conversion, and overall income delivery.
• Engage brokers through meetings, development plans, training, and industry events.
• Mentor and coach junior underwriters through referrals and professional guidance.
• Maintain accurate CRM data to enable data-led engagement and reporting.

Requirements

• Proven experience underwriting Cyber risks, ideally within the SME space.
• Strong knowledge of cyber exposures, coverage, and underwriting discipline.
• Demonstrable success in building and developing professional broker relationships.
• Confident communication skills with the ability to trade, influence, and win business.
• Proficiency in using CRM systems and digital underwriting platforms.
• Must be located in or able to work from Manchester, Leeds, or Birmingham (UK).
